The Samsung Chromebook 2 Series

Samsung has announced the successor to the Samsung Chromebook dubbed as the Chromebook 2 Series. These laptops apparently run on Google's Chrome OS and with the new Chromebook 2, Samsung has taken what the Galaxy Note 3 has and put it on the laptop. The series come in either an 11.6" display or a 13.3" and has the faux-leather backing just like what the Note 3 has. According to Samsung, the Chromebook 2's performance increase and sports Samsung's own Exynos 5 Octa processors. Both laptop variants are expected to be available starting April of this year. The 11-incher gets an MSRP of $319.99 while the 13-incher gets it at $399.99. Head over the break for the Chromebooks' specs.

The Samsung made Google Nexus 10 starts getting Android 4.4 KitKat

The Google Nexus 10, which is manufactured by Samsung, has started receiving it's own fair share of the KitKat goodness. Being a Nexus device, it is expected that it is one of the devices that will automatically get the latest version of Android available. According to the official tweet from Android, "Starting today, Nexus 7 (2012 and 2013) and Nexus 10 will be getting a tasty update to Android 4.4, KitKat". For those who owns a Nexus 10, you probably received an update notification and should already have it but for those who has not then simply check for any software updates via Settings > About Device. Google announced a Pure Android Samsung Galaxy S 4

During Google I/O 2013's first day, Google announced that they will be selling a very delicious smartphone starting June in the US. The smartphone is Samsung's 2013 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S IV. And I know sammyfans, it's not that we don't like TouchWiz but Android in itself is great! And yes, Google will be selling the device, rumored to be the Galaxy S IV Nexus Edition, to run on Android's Stock OS (no UIs whatsoever). 

Samsung made the tablet with the highest screen resolution ever but the screen is not Samsung's - Google Nexus 10

Even Sandy can't stop Google from unveiling to the world the tablet with the highest screen resolution. Google and Samsung announced the Nexus 10, a 10-incher tablet that runs on the latest and newest version of Android, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. According to the official Android Blog, the "Nexus 10 is the highest resolution tablet on the planet with a 10.055" display at 2560-by-1600 (300ppi)". And guess what, it is! I don't like to do this, seriously I don't, but to give you an idea, think of the iPad 3 or 4 which both sport LG's IPS display technology (Retina display, in Apple's language), has a screen resolution of 2048x1536 and a pixel density of 264ppi. The Nexus 10 has the higher resolution, not only does it sport a bigger screen, it also has the higher pixel density compared to the iPad, at 300ppi.
