Samsung has announced in South Korea the world's first LTE-Advance capable smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S IV LTE-A. This announcement followed SK Telecoms accomplishment in finishing implementing the next generation in 4G LTE technology dubbed as the LTE-Advance network. So, for those who owns a Galaxy S IV and does not live in South Korea, relax. This device will not arrive in your country unless a carrier will offer LTE-A. In the Philippines this is awkward moment because the Philippines has just started building their LTE network. Anyway, In South Korea, SK Telecom is the only carrier (in the world too) to offer LTE-A which means the smartphone will only be offered by SK Telecom. This is also, so far, Samsung's most powerful smartphone since it sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.3GHz. According to Samsung's presser, the device will be available in South Korea starting this summer in two colors, Arctic Blue and Red Aurora.
