Samsung Gear S

Here's another Smartwatch churned by the Korean-giant! The Samsung Gear S is brilliantly designed and is running on Samsung's Tizen OS just like the other Gear smartwatches (except the Gear Live). This is Samsung's first smartwatch that has it's own connectivity and by that I mean it has 3G connectivity which basically means this smartwatch can run on it's own. It can also be connected via WiFi which is amazing since this is a watch and not a phone. The Gear S also sports a 2" curved Super AMOLED display and a 300 mAh battery, on paper, that can run for up to 2 days. The Gear S will be available globally in phases starting October.

The Galaxy Note 4's wallpaper?

Posted by SamMobile, this is probably the Galaxy Note 4's default wallpaper or probably the wallpaper it will be wearing when the device is unveiled come September 3. The photo or the wallpaper you see above has been resized (by me). It can actually tell us the screen resolution the Note 4 will be sporting by simply looking at the photo's detail. The photo was originally uploaded with a resolution of 2560x2560 if you give it a little bit of thinking, you know what the Note 4's display resolution is, immediately. Getting more excited as September 3 comes closer.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK

Samsung together with Barnes and Noble unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK. It's essentially an eReader with the unlimited features of Android in a tablet that is 7inches big. It probably has the same exact specs with that of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7 but unfortunately, I could be wrong since Samsung nor Barnes and Noble did not release the specsheet of the device. Anyway, for those who wants to check out this device head over to the device's product page in the Barnes and Noble website.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Samsung have announced a mid-range smartphone that does not look like it is for the mid-range market... at all. Today, the South Korean giant announced to the world the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. What is the first thing you notice when you look at the photo of the phone? Yup, the design and most especially the use of materials that is unusual to be coming from Samsung. According to the company's press release the Alpha features a "new design approach with the Galaxy Alpha." The smartphone runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat with Samsung's TouchWiz UI and a 4.7 display powered by an Octa-core processor. It is a mid-range device (which basically means it will be priced a bit more affordable compared to the flagships) but the specs and the design totally makes it a worthy smartphone to be up there and should be selling like hotcakes, unless the market says otherwise. The Galaxy Alpha is set to be available by September.

Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 - take NOTE of the date

Samsung officially sends out invites of their Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event this coming September 3, 2014. The event will be happening in three cities around the world, the main, I suppose, is in Berlin while it will be happening simultaneously in Beijing and in New York. So, what should we expect from this event? Following history and the apparent image on the invitation Samsung released, the event is when the next Samsung Galaxy Note is being unveiled. I do have a concern though that the device is being announced too early? But anyway, take NOTE of the date, mark your calendars the next big thing is coming.
