Samsung Galaxy UNPACKED 2015 - MWC 2015

Samsung have started sending out press invites for their Samsung Galaxy UNPACKED 2015 event which will be during the Mobile World Congress. For those who are excited to see the next generation Galaxy S device, mark your calendars on the 1st of March. The invite emphasizes of what seems to be the shape of the next Galaxy device from Samsung. The Galaxy S 6 could have a curved screen or whatnot which makes it more interesting to watch the event when they unveil the device to the public.

So far, the rumor mill have been churning out specs of the device which include a 5.1-5.3" screen, a Samsung Exynos processor instead of a Qualcomm SoC, might have a 4GB RAM, and a 20MP camera.

Samsung UNPACKED 2014 Episode 2 Berlin now on YouTube

The Samsung UNPACKED 2014 Episode 2 live event is not up on YouTube for your viewing pleasure. For those who have not watched the event during the time it was streamed, then head over after the break to watch the whole event. When I wrote about both the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Note Edge (include the Gear VR) I said it would be better to actually see the devices while they are being demoed. So this is your time. Enjoy!

Watch the teaser video from Samsung after the break.

Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 - take NOTE of the date

Samsung officially sends out invites of their Samsung Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event this coming September 3, 2014. The event will be happening in three cities around the world, the main, I suppose, is in Berlin while it will be happening simultaneously in Beijing and in New York. So, what should we expect from this event? Following history and the apparent image on the invitation Samsung released, the event is when the next Samsung Galaxy Note is being unveiled. I do have a concern though that the device is being announced too early? But anyway, take NOTE of the date, mark your calendars the next big thing is coming.

As per the rumor mill, it is going to be the Galaxy Tab S which will bring Samsung's AMOLED display technology to the tablet world, finally. Mark your calendars! The event will start at 19:00 EST and will be streamed by Samsung on their Samsung Mobile Youtube Channel.

Kapture the Moment event by Samsung

Samsung has another event in the coming weeks titled "Kapture The Moment". The event will happen at 11am in Singapore's Red Dot Design Museum. Of course, Samsung won't give out what the main point or topic of the event is but it looks like there is going to be a new phone announced. Probably that Galaxy S5 with a metallic design? Who knows? Mark your calendars if you want to find out what it is.

Yes, Samsung's 2014 flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S V. Samsung to unveil 2 new Samsung Exynos processors at CES 2014

Samsung has been constantly teasing over at their Social Media outlets about their Samsung Exynos processors with a date (Jan. 7) and a place (Las Vegas). That, apparently, is during CES 2014. According to UV, the Korean Giant will be announcing or unveiling their, I should say, 2014 line of Exynos processors. 2013 was a year that was all about Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 and 800 quad-core CPUs. Even Samsung's Note III has a variant that runs on the Snapdragon 800.

Samsung Premiere: Samsung ATIV Tab 3 brings along the S-Pen

Now for tablets. Samsung announced the Samsung ATIV Tab 3 which now comes with an S-Pen. This is good because Sammy is not making the S-Pen experience exclusive to the Note line of devices. Now a Windows 8 running tablet can simply slide out the S-Pen and just make magic with it. The ATIV Tab 3 sports a brilliant design that follows, yet again, the Galaxy line sans the Android of course. Anyway, this device comes with SideSync, full Windows capabilities, and the portability of a 550g tablet.

Samsung Premiere: The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus

Now this is a PC. The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Plus a high-performance PC that incorporates Intel's newest technology of their CPUs dubbed as the Haswell. I needed to Google what Samsung was trying to say when it put ULT on the product specs because I did not know what Haswell was. Anyway, I confirmed it by myself that this PC running on Windows 8 with a 13.3" QHD+ (3200x1800) resolution is being powered by either an Intel Core i5/i7 ULT processor.

Samsung Premiere: The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Lite

Next we have the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Lite which is a less spec-ed PC compared to it's more powerful brother that I will be posting about after this. The Samsung ATIV Book 9 Lite sports the same display as it's bigger brother but sports a 256GB SSD and a display that is of the same size but of a lesser resolution (1366x768). Since all of these PCs run on Windows 8 they all sport touchscreen displays.

Samsung Premiere: The Samsung ATIV One 5 Style AIO

The event that happened last nigh was called the Samsung Premiere 2013 Galaxy and ATIV. Basing on the name of event itself it is clear that Samsung will be announcing devices that will add up on its ATIV branding of PCs, Tablets, and whatnot. This device right here is one of them. Dubbed as the Samsung ATIV One 5 Style this All-In-One PC is an Ultra Slim PC that runs on Windows 8 and is being powered by an AMD quad-core processor. The design aesthetics used on this device, according to the presser, is from their Galaxy line of devices. Date of launch and pricing are still undisclosed, as always.

Samsung announced 5 more colors of the Galaxy S IV

I deliberately did not watch Samsung's Premiere Event last night because I was very sleepy and all. Anyway, here is one of the many things they announced yesterday. The Samsung Galaxy S IV will be getting five new colors namely Blue Arctic, Purple Mirage, Red Aurora, Brown Autumn, and Pink Twilight. Currently, the Red Aurora of the Galaxy S IV is being sold by AT&T in the US and the Blue Arctic is being sold in Japan. But do not expect that all of these colors will be available everywhere. Base on experience, Samsung seems to select the markets where they will be selling all of the colors of one specific device. In the Philippines, a differently colored S III was as rare as a blue iPhone.

Samsung to unveil devices come June 20 - Galaxy and ATIV line of devices

Samsung has sent out invites for a special event come Jun 20th in London. The event is called Samsung Premier 2013 (and will probably start a tradition after the Unpacked events). Base on the invitation itself, it is clear that Samsung will be announcing a Windows device(s) and a Galaxy (Android) device(s). About what these things are, I have no idea but to follow what the rumor mill has been churning up, it seems Samsung will be announcing a Windows 8 PC and/or a tablet and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom. I posted on my Facebook that this event might also unveil the Galaxy Note 3, which is really exciting if that holds water but if not then we will just have to wait for Samsung's next major unveiling event.

So, it is officially official! The annual Samsung Unpacked event this year will happen on March 14 in New York. Apparently, this will be the event that everyone is waiting for, this is where and when the Galaxy S IV will be announced. The invite is very obvious about it. So, mark you calendars!

Samsung's MWC 2013 invitations assures us of new Galaxy devices!

The world's largest showcase of mobile devices, the Mobile World Congress, is just around the corner. From Feb. 25 - 28, Samsung will be there in Barcelona, Spain for the event and will be showing us their new Galaxy devices (or device). If rumors hold water, then the Korean-giant won't unveil yet to the world their 2013 Android flagship device (the Galaxy S IV) which is rumored to be announced by the phonemaker in April.
