Samsung has announced two low-end smartphones. This market is where Samsung's prowess is really seen. They took this market away from Nokia and with these new smartphone announcements, is running away with it. This is the Samsung Galaxy Star, one of the two smartphones announced. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean from the box and is being powered by a 1GHz single-core processor. Samsung says that this smartphone is targeted for the youth and like most smartphones announced by Samsung, does not have an exact date when this will be available anywhere.
