The mean, badass, and the most amazing mobile device to have hit this planet has reached the 10 million units sold mark, according to Samsung. Samsung Global has posted on their website an infographic remembering which of their phones have sold 10 million units. Samsung is really on a roll here. Just this year, in January, Samsung announced that they have already sold 100,000,000 Galaxy S smartphones. That number includes the original Galaxy S, the Galaxy S II, and the Galaxy S III. That number will only have to grow since it still does not include the Galaxy S IV.
On the Galaxy Note's side, it is a bit lagging behind Samsung's flagship smartphone line. It is understandable, since the Galaxy Note is kind of a niche, if you may, which targets a specific kind of market. But that does not mean it cannot do any good when compared to the GS line. If you take a look at how good the Galaxy Note line is doing in terms of sales, it stays positive and is only growing. 10 Million Galaxy Note IIIs, and that is just the newest on the line. If we account for the 2 other Notes the number looks like this: 40,000,000 (both GN I and the GN II) + 10,000,000 (GN III). By the way, the Galaxy Note sold 5 million units in 5 months (from the time it was launched) while the Galaxy Note II did the same in 3 months. The Galaxy Note III, on the other hand, is in a class of it's own, doubling that number and cutting the time by 1/3.
Anyway, here is the infographic that Samsung has posted over at Samsung Global. Take note that since the original Galaxy S and including the original Galaxy Note these devices have sold at least 10 million units each.
