After the success of Samsung's first attempt on a SmartWatch, the Galaxy Gear, the Global-giant has just announced the Samsung GamePad. As the name implies it's a game pad where you can put ur Samsung Galaxy devices on to and then play games with it. As a peripheral device, it will automatically transform your Galaxy device into one of, if not the best, portable gaming console you ever have. The GamePad communicated with your mobile device using Bluetooth technology so you can connect your GamePad wirelessly. Additionally, you can connect your smartphone/tablet to a TV via an HDMI cable or AllShare Screen Mirroring for a much immersive gaming experience.
According to Samsung, "The most convenient features optimized for Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 4.3 such as Galaxy Note 3, S4, Note II, and S III enable easy connectivity with GamePad via NFC tag and quicker access to games via the “PLAY” button."
For now, the GamePad is available in select European countries and Samsung said it should be available in more regions globally in the coming weeks.
