Globe starts accepting pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S 5!

Globe has started to accept pre-orders for Samsung's 2014 Flagship Android Smartphone, the Galaxy S 5. It looks like Globe will be, until Smart does something, the only carrier in the Philippines to be offering the smartphone. You can get the Galaxy S 5 for as low as Php 1699 with 2 years contract. For those who wants to pre-order one right now, head over here. Check out Globe's offerings for the smartphone. But always be vigilant before applying for a plan with carriers in the Philippines. I believe Globe will start giving out the smartphone by the 11th, like what Samsung has announced back at MWC 2014 in Spain. Anyway, Cheers!

The Samsung Chromebook 2 Series

Samsung has announced the successor to the Samsung Chromebook dubbed as the Chromebook 2 Series. These laptops apparently run on Google's Chrome OS and with the new Chromebook 2, Samsung has taken what the Galaxy Note 3 has and put it on the laptop. The series come in either an 11.6" display or a 13.3" and has the faux-leather backing just like what the Note 3 has. According to Samsung, the Chromebook 2's performance increase and sports Samsung's own Exynos 5 Octa processors. Both laptop variants are expected to be available starting April of this year. The 11-incher gets an MSRP of $319.99 while the 13-incher gets it at $399.99. Head over the break for the Chromebooks' specs.

Samsung Gear Fit + Infographic

So here's my very late post about the Samsung Gear Fit, Samsung's first SmartBand and the world's first device that is not a smartphone or phablet to sport a curved AMOLED display. The Gear Fit works just like the Gear 2 but it is just a band instead of a watch and the Gear 2 have more features in it than the Fit. But regardless, the Gear Fit will do its job and will perform as what Samsung has promised. It is water resistant with IP67 certification and can notify you on whatever is going on with your smartphone. The Gear Fit, like the Gear 2 runs on Samsung's Tizen OS and is fully compatible with their Galaxy line of devices.

Samsung basically released infographics to all the mobile devices they unveiled at MWC 2014. I have already posted about the Galaxy S 5 about its infographics and now we have the Samsung Gear 2. I will not talk more about the Gear 2 we all know what it can do. If you still don't then click on the link above (Gear 2) to know it a little more. So here is the inforgraphic and the Gear 2's introduction video (together with the Gear Fit).

Globe Telecom now accepts registration of interest for the Samsung Galaxy S V

Globe Telecom, in the Philippines, has opened up a Galaxy S V dedicated page on their website for you to sign up your interest for the coming of the smartphone. There are no details yet on what postpaid plans Globe will be offering the device but at least you ca pre-register now. The Galaxy S V will definitely arrive in the Philippines on April 11, 2014 as announced by Samsung during their Unpacked Episode 1 event in Barcelona, Spain. Pricing, without the plan, is still to be known, but I will be posting about it once Globe announces it or as soon as they provide further details. Samsung Galaxy S family inforgraphic

Samsung has made a very neat infographic image of their Galaxy S line of devices. From the beginning up to the newest Samsung Galaxy S V which was announced just a few days ago. I am a Samsung fanatic, apparently, and wants to emphasize that the image above clearly shows how Samsung actually upgrades their Galaxy S. Unlike some other phonemakers in the market, they actually do incremental upgrades while Samsung here upgrades their devices as if there is no tomorrow.
