Samsung has been constantly teasing over at their Social Media outlets about their Samsung Exynos processors with a date (Jan. 7) and a place (Las Vegas). That, apparently, is during CES 2014. According to UV, the Korean Giant will be announcing or unveiling their, I should say, 2014 line of Exynos processors. 2013 was a year that was all about Qualcomm's Snapdragon 600 and 800 quad-core CPUs. Even Samsung's Note III has a variant that runs on the Snapdragon 800.
I have already have this date on my Google Calendar marked since the news circulating around the internet says that Samsung will be unveiling not one but 2 Exynos processors. Both are said to be octa-cores and both will be 64-bit.
I am just hoping that the "octa-core" that they will be announcing are true octa-cores, meaning all 8-cores will run simultaneously and not just a set of them one at a time. Anyway, January 7, 2014 is a day on your calendars that should have an X mark on it. And of course, expect me blogging about it once the CPU is announced.
