Samsung among top 10 most valuable brands in the world according to Interbrand

Interbrand has released their 2012 Best Global Brands and for the first time in Samsung history it has entered into the top 10. Samsung is the 9th most valuable brand behind Intel. The list goes on and on but we will just focus on the top 10, where the cream of the crop dwells. The company that sits on top? Coca Cola, yup the beverage maker is the world's most valuable brand. It;s not a surprise since the company has consistently done that for 13 years now. Apple sits pretty in 2nd.

What is striking for me is the fact that Apple and Samsung have the two fastest percentage change in their brand value. With Apple that is no question. Samsung's 40% change in it's brand value is also astonishing the fact that, according to most points-of-view, it's Samsung who is chasing other companies around when it comes to thee types of lists and statistics.

I am confident that the trend, of Samsung moving up that list, will stop.
